Chris Pastore

I'm a Long Island native now New Jersey resident. Been writing, performing and recording for 25 years in various groups in the northeast. I studied blues and jazz with some great teachers and hit the Baltimore scene right out of college fronting and touring with the group Fat Apple in the late 90's which gave me the chance to meet many of the amazing musicians in my life. I Recently embarking on my first album in over a decade titled "Turn the Music Up Loud!", a compilation of unrecorded old songs and many new ones, this release is a combination of some of the best players and friends that I have ever had the opportunity to share the stage with. THIS IS ME
Chris Pastore
Singer, Songwriter, Guitarist
For me songwriting is a constant, a daily routine, interactions, daydreams, struggles and jubilation, love, fate and sometimes just a good hook and a solid groove. Some take years to cultivate and others come in minutes. The words and music can intertwine so simply like pieces of a puzzle when finished, stories like little voyages, then subject to the listeners interpretations and mood. My influences are too many to list. Bob Brooks
Bassist, Vocals
Bass player extraordinaire, my right hand man, Bob and I have been playing together since the early 2000's back when we were playing Simon and Garfunkel covers in the back streets of Canton. A graduate of the Towson University School of Music, Bob is the heartbeat of the band and a creative genius on the 5 String. His bass lines are tight, melodic and perfectly placed.
Dave Lawson
Drums
Drummer Dave and I have been playing music together since 1996, Touring with Fat Apple in the 90's and after as a quartet with Bob and Eric we have played countless gigs together and lived a lifetime of musical memories. He is the foundation, the driving force, captain of the groove, always in the pocket.
Eric Trudel
Saxophone, Flute
"Trude" is an insanely talented Sax player and it is a privilege to showcase his playing on our recordings. A Towson University School of Music Grad Eric has played and performed with several touring acts over the years. A Melodic Master of his craft his horn lines will touch your senses and quickly engrave their way to your memory you'll be singing the lines in your head. For our new album he managed to send the perfect tracks all the way from Hawaii.
Mike Gambone
Drums, Percussion
Drummer extraordinaire Mike Gambone is a disciplined and technically amazing drummer who I was lucky enough to have perform on 4 songs on the new cd behind the kit. A perfectionist, musical scientist, Towson University School of Music grad, touring drummer for the Bridge, and an overall great guy.
Matt Stone
Piano, Whurlitzer, Rhodes, Hammond, Clav
A local prodigy, multi instrumentalist, Matt and I have been performing on the fly for a few years now and he was the perfect fit to provide keys on the new album. Matt attended the Berklee College of Music and toured with the national act Yes Virginia. Somehow the gods were kind enough to land us as neighbors!
Steve Wright
Engineering, Production
The Wizard of recording, engineering and production. Steve's insight, patience and expertise allowed me and the rest of the band to reach our full creative and performance potential. Steve's Wrightway Studios collection of vintage gear and modern technology enabled the songs to come to life before our ears.
Dave Hadley
Pedal Steel Guitar
I kept hearing a steel guitar part for one of the songs on the new album. On a limb and a tip Dave and I connected for his expertise on the song "Yearbook Quotes". A true professional, The master of the Steel Pedal Guitar tops off this cast of musical talent on the new album. Dave has toured and recorded with many top class acts, check him out at www.Davehadley.com
